Having worked out under Lauren's expert supervision for almost six months, twice a week, I feel stronger than ever before in my life, toned and energized. She introduced me to Kettlebell training which is challenging and fun. Yes, that is swinging an 18lb weight, soon to be more. Workout without feeling like you are working out! Lauren is an awesome trainer! She keeps you motivated and switches it up, so you are never bored AND on top of that you don't even feel like you are working out. When the class/session is over, if feels like barely any time has passed and I cant wait for the next one! Highly recommend Lauren as a trainer.

Lauren designed a personalized nutrition program that took into account my hectic crazy schedule, taught me how to fuel my body with food, and how to enjoy eating again. Since starting her program, I lost 10 pounds (my weight is at 156 lbs). I am 35 years old and weigh less now than I did when I turned 30! I dropped 2 pant sizes, lost 2 inches off both my waist and hips, and my fat percentage dropped to 32%. An added bonus, I have more energy, do not have cravings to eat junk, got rid of my dependency on diet soda, and sleep better than I have in years. I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with Lauren and I recommend her nutrition program to anyone that wants to learn how to eat for life. I also wanted to let you know since reading your email I have decided to try my hand at clean eating. I have the foundations of what is good and what is bad from practicing WW and since reading up on what clean eating is, i learned how easy it is, and how much I am already really doing it. Ditching points and calorie counting in these past 6 days have made me feel FREE! Its insane how much pressure it really took off me. I feel like i am not obsessing anymore and it just comes naturally and i don't feel "guilty". Something personally i struggle with.
Discovering you and your workouts, blogs, tips, and suggestions has honestly changed my life. I don't think I could ever go without exercise in my life. The change it has made in me is life changing. The way it makes me feel about myself is something no bottle or diet could ever give. And even though it may make some laugh, and its only been six weeks, i know i could never go back to the way i was before.
I know you probably get these emails, hundreds of them daily, but thank you! Thank you so much! My start weight 6 short weeks ago was 175, and my weight as of today, six weeks into KB's is 158. Well on my way! Thanks once again!

I have always been a runner and fit. However, once I hit my late-forties, between nagging running injuries, and the fact that it was getting harder to keep off inches around my waistline I had to find something new. I decided to try kettlebell classes with Lauren. I have never felt so good about the way I look, and I get lots of compliments. The best thing about kettlebells is that you DON’T bulk up; you only get leaner, stronger and more sculpted!

I want to thank Lauren Brooks for the wonderful nutrition program she gave me. It worked so well because it was really more of a healthy way to eat than a diet. As we all know diets never work because you have to change your eating habits for life to lose weight or inches and keep them off. I was never an obese person, however I realized after utilizing Lauren's nutrition program that I wasn't a healthy eater. I never realized how much sugar was in my diet and how much I was lacking basic fruits and vegetables. After sticking to a strict program for two months along with exercise I lost several inches and went down a few sizes. Most of all, I now eat a lot healthier than I ever have and feel a lot better physically. Thanks so much Lauren. Your nutrition program is the only thing that has worked for me and not made me miserable in the process.

Dear Lauren,
I want to let you know how much I enjoy your workouts. I have the Ultimate Sculpt and Conditioning Volumes 1, 2, and 3 and also your Workshop DVD. Lauren, it is such a pleasure to workout with you. I've been working out seriously with weights since my son was born 12 years ago. I discovered kettlebells about 3 or 4 years ago and was working out exclusively to Anthony DiLuglio's workouts until I discovered you. While I still throw in one of Anthony's workouts from time to time, I use your workouts 2-3 times a week. I really like mixing and matching different segments. For example, this morning I did Vol. 1 - 40 minutes, plus the Finisher and Core section from Vol. 2. It was an awesome workout!
I hope you and your family are well. I know you just came out with Vol. 3, but I have to say I'm already looking forward to Vol. 4! Thanks for all of your hard work.

I have seen great results from taking Lauren's Kettlebell classes and it's fun! I have a 15 month old baby and not only have I lost all the pregnancy weight...I have lost an additional 13 lbs. Hi, You introduced me to Kettlebells over a year ago. Before then I had major back pain due to a slipped disc from my powerlifting days. Since working out with kettlebells I have been pain free. Its unbelievable. I am now able to do double work comfortably with my 40KGs. Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Lauren's greatest quality as a trainer is that this is more than just a job for her. She truly cares about each of her clients as people. Over the past 6 years, I had worked with at least 5 seperate trainers, none lasting over 3 weeks. I have now been working with Lauren for over a year.

Hi Lauren,
I really wanted to incorporate kbs into my workouts however none were available locally. I came across your videos a while ago and was really anxious to get them as your instruction on form is probably one of the best out there. I also like your no frills approach as well. Having been to your site, I was able to see how much you've helped others whip themselves back into shape and just be healthier on a whole. As soon as the sports store got kbs in, I went out and got Ultimate Body Sculpting and Conditioning Volume 1. Before I did minimum strength training and some pilates. My routine at home was primarily cardio which helped me to lose weight and actually some gain lean muscle. However, I quickly hit a plateau. Diet has always been an issue for me as I love food. Even watching what I ate, I hit the dreaded plateau. I cannot tell you how much your workout has made a difference and how much I enjoy it. I am alternating between 10lbs and 20lbs kbs. In just 2 weeks of primarily doing your workout both the 12 min to start and the 40 minute one and not overeating, I am down 4 lbs. I also feel much tighter in my core and my legs and well all over actually. I really look forward to doing the workout. My closest friend, who is also into working out, is also getting into your workouts as well. It's really refreshing to see a genuine person put out such a fantastic product. Thanks ever so much.

Very sensitive to my specific health issues. I have a heart condition known as Long QT syndrome and, as a result, have a defibrillator connected to my heart. I am still very physically active and working out on a regular basis means a great deal to my mental as well as physical well being. My adult son told me about his Kettlebell workouts.
Upon inquiring, I was told again and again of Lauren Brooks being one of the finest physical trainers in Southern California. Lauren happens to reside in my home town of San Diego.
Today was my first Kettlebell lesson (private) with Lauren. It was truly a joyful experience. Lauren was made aware of my condition and proceeded to provide me with an extraordinary workout that was both physically invigorating and emotional and mentally inspiring.

I love Lauren's workouts. Every workout is different from the previous one and I love the variety. I'm always challenged and end up exhausted and sweaty --- a true sign that the workout was a tough one! All I want now is more classes!!!

She looks amazing which is a motivating factor but also her workouts are constantly changing, never boring and always killer. I wanted to send you a personal email to tell you thank you for your incredible videos! I am a mom of a beautiful 15-month old daughter. I came across an article for kettlebells in Fitness magazine a little over a year ago. While researching buying a bell, I found your website. Due to your great reviews, I purchased your first video. I began working out with Volume 1 in January of 2010 and started the second video the following May.
I LOVE your videos! At first, your positive/hard working attitude kept me motivated to workout. Now, the results I have gotten motivate me. I reached out to Lauren while training for my RKC. I was following a great program but I felt like I needed a different approach to boost my confidence. I sent Lauren my current program and with the looks of it she believed that I was on the right path and well prepared. That’s when the question came up: would you still like my help? And I immediately said yes. Lauren sent my two programs first, and I started to PR right of the bat. I was Pressing, Swinging, Snatching, Squatting, Cleaning and doing Get ups with weights and never thought possible. A few weeks later she sent me two more programs and my progress shot through the roof. I gained more mobility, strength, endurance, and hypertrophy was just an ad on. I passed the RKC and it was not easy but with Laurens program and motivation, it prepared me well. I believe Lauren is a phenomenal instructor and ahead of her time. Her approach to kettlebell training is one of a kind and reaps results faster than any program that I’ve ever tried. She knows her stuff and is one of the top instructors in my book.
